It would be great if life always worked out exactly as you planned.  Imagine everything working out your way.  Can you envision never having any conflicts or challenges?  What if nothing unexpected ever happened in yor life?

fortunately life does not work like that and things do come up.   I say fortunately because if everything were perfect in your life you would never discover what you can really do.  Without challenges in your life you are never pushed to the limit and forced to do things you wouldn’t normally have to do.  It’s the obstacles in our lives that help us become better people.  Also, if everything went your way you wouldn’t have anything to look forward to.  Part of the blessing of this life that gives us strength is the hope, or better yet the promise, that something better awaits us on the other side of the grave.  The challenges we face now make the promises of God look so good.  Life is hard but you have something to look forward to.
