This is where the Mission team will post our happenings in Haiti.

I’ve heard people suggest that all of the tornadoes and other natural disasters that have recently occurred are a result of the end of time.  First, if you believe in Jesus then you know that no one knows when the end of time will be. Secondly, people have been declaring we are in the last days for over 2000 years. Thirdly, this is not the time to declare God’s judgement on the world, only God can do that. This is the time for us to pray for and send our support to the victims of these terrible disasters.

Dear Lord, touch those affected by recent natural disasters. Help those who have lost loved ones feel your presence and your power. Reassure them that your love and your mercy endure forever. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

In one week my 3 children will be out of school for the summer. That’s great for the kids but it means we have to find productive things for them to do over the break. Sharon and I have a lot things planned for our family this summer. The summer will be filled with camps, swimming, birthdays, and vacations. We always take a family vacation in the summer. This allows us to spend time together. Often, with the hustle and bustle a normal week, we can sometimes be like passing ships. When we go on vacation this allows us to slow down and enjoy one another. However, by mid-August I will be ready for them to go back to school.

Make sure you spend some quality time this summer with your children.
