I’m very excited about this Sunday. We have special musical guests and the sermon will even be about music. Music plays a vital role in our lives. More importantly, music plays a critical role in worship. There are at least 3 components of worship that you will find in every congregation: preaching, prayer, and music. The styles might vary but there is music of some sort. Music can be an expression of praise to God and we plan to express joyful praise to God this Sunday.

Wednesday marked the beginning of the Lenten season. Lent, the forty days leading up to Easter, is a time of reflection, self-examination, prayer, and sacrifice.
It is my hope that we look at this time as a period of preparation. We are sacrificing and praying with the hope of a spiritual breakthrough. When this season ends expect a breakthrough in your personal lives. After all, Easter is the story of the Ultimate Breakthrough: From Death to Life.
